TENEO has been manufacturing connectors and components as early as 1960s.
1980
Connector development and production reaches its pinnacle. Yearly production of 25 million pieces in SR, VS, RM, BN, VN and PK groups.
1989
After the “Velvet revolution”, the new government declares that the production of weapons in Czechoslovakia be terminated, which nearly brings the company production to a complete halt.
1993
The company is acquired by ABB – connectors are produced in negligible amounts.
1996
In the scope of company restructuring and subsequent outsourcing, ABB sells the near defunct connector production to EMS.
2001 - 2003
EMS is transformed into TENEO 3000 s.r.o., and focuses primarily on the production of connectors and components.
2004
TENEO makes a fundamental investment into new CNC and PNC technologies and equipment for the production of cable rolls.
2005
Control processes underwent a fundamental improvement thanks to the introduction of modern information systems (production planning and control, workflow).
2007
TENEO is producing 160 thousand round connectors a year in SR, VS, RM, BN, and PK groups. TENEO is awarded ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates.
2008
Another substantial modernization of the technology pool was carried out concerning the production of contacts and aluminium connector casing.
2009
Scheduled reconstruction of the company premises.
